-The guy writing Wonder Woman (Joss Wedon?) said in an interview I read recently that he was
having trouble with the script for Wonder Woman. Hm. I'm a big fan of the old skool version that was Live Action. This is a simple story. Its basically about a super powerful chick that comes from a kind of land of amazons and comes to Earth. Okay- so, we have gods, amazons, superpowers that rival some of Supermans' abilities. whats the problem here? I have to request that the old theme be played during the movie. Invisible Jet. say it with me.. INVISIBLE JET.
-X-men comics in general have been getting more interesting. Though Im not a huge fan of the massive change in Rogue (one of my favorites) I do find that the art is good, thankfully not too anime, and they are resurrecting some older characters and storylines in fresh ways. Kudos. Rogue in movie form? Forget it. I dont want to even address that!
-The media blitz on Lance Bass coming out is kind of boring me already. Can we get someone interesting or talented to come out? Do we need all we can get, or just quality, or both? Bass is trying desperately to hang on to the spotlight, and I guess its admirable that he is courageous enough to come out ... now that no one is really interested in him, anyhow. The thing is, this isnt a surprise announcement. We need more ballsy queers to come out. I guess money does really change everything. Sad.
